You are invited to submit poetry, essays, stories, or other literary forms to include in several books of photographs I'm planning to publish. The photographs portray combinations of the following subjects: Ø Southwest: redrock, canyons, arches, mountains Ø Winter: snow, ice, icicles, frost Ø Sunrise, sunset, clouds, moon and moonlight, contrails Ø Rivers, especially the Colorado and its tributaries Ø Trees, flowers, cactus Ø Birds: herons, egrets, ravens, ducks, geese, shore birds, hummingbirds, wild turkeys Ø Bugs: dragonflies, damselflies, spiders and webs, moths, wasps, grasshoppers, ants Ø Reptilian and other such things: lizards, frogs, tadpoles, snakes, snails Ø Animals: squirrels, chipmunks, cats, others Ø People: rock climbers, Taiko players, children, scenes in India, sculpture, family Ø Hot air balloons
Such subjects inspire thoughts on broader themes, such as Ø Southwest and canyon country Ø Environment and ecology Ø Spiritualism Ø Solitude Ø Native American themes Ø Family and other relationships and whatever other inspiration might strike you. If the inspiration does strike, if something you have feels appropriate, please get in touch with me. If you know of anyone else who might be moved to participate, please let me know. And, if you happen to think of other existent work that might be relevant, I'd appreciate such pointers as well.
