The catalog provides a list of documents written by Bill Kent (and co-authors), as well as access to many of those documents.
Some papers may be listed under multiple topics. Papers without hyperlinks are not available on line.
The documents are in various degrees of completion. Some are unfinished drafts, some are finished but unpublished, and some have been published. The purpose is to make them available to anyone who takes the effort to browse, without any commitments regarding the quality or completeness of the contents. Some of the documents/drafts overlap in content, which may eventually be weeded out.
Most of these documents were webbified a few years ago. They don't always use the latest styles and formats.
I've adopted the following conventions in my documents to cope with html limitations.
Comparison symbols: < > =< >= ¬= == (identical)
Arrows: <- -> <-> => <=>
Set relationships: IN (set membership), NOT IN , CONTAINS , UNION , INTERSECT , SUBSET , SUBSETEQ , SUPERSET , SUPERSETEQ
Summation over x: SUM[x]f(x)
Superscripts: x**2.
Subscripts: not supported. You will see xi rather than the subscripted form.
